Q: What streetscape products do you offer?
Brandon Industries, Inc.® offers a complete line of custom antique reproduction lamp posts, signage systems, including custom street signs, traffic signs, wayfinding signs and decorative aluminum mailboxes. You will find a variety of styles and sizes for commercial and residential use designed to enhance any architecture or landscape.
Q: How are they made?
Casting methods from yesteryear have been combined with modern technology to offer you quality aluminum streetscape products with a durable powder coat finish. We are also working on new environmentally friendly products made from 100% recycled materials.
Q: Why aluminum?
Aluminum will not rust and is well suited for outdoor conditions. It is lightweight yet durable, recyclable and reasonably priced.
Q: What finishes are available?
The standard color is a semi-gloss black polyester powder coat finish. Optional colors verde green, dark green, and dark bronze are available for a slightly higher price. Some streetscape products are not available in all colors.
Q: How much light do I need?
This is a difficult question to answer. It depends on what you are trying to accomplish and whether or not you are combining automobile and pedestrian traffic. The landscape itself plays a major role in the lighting of a given area. Rest assured that our sales staff will be happy to discuss some options with you. However, there may be some cases where the services of a local lighting engineer are warranted.
Q: What is H.I.D.?
H.I.D. stands for High Intensity Discharge, which is a family of lighting described in detail at our
HID Lighting Page.
Q: Do you offer refractor globes and light shields?
We have a variety of refractor globes available for specialty lighting needs. Also, we have some fixtures that minimize up lighting.
Q: What if I don’t see the type of sign I need?
We offer many types and sizes of signs. We can manufacture signs in custom shapes and make signs out of a variety of materials. These include custom street signs, traffic control signs, wayfinding signs and many others. We also offer a variety of retroreflectivity options to meet your requirements. We can even powder coat the back of the sign to match your poles. If you don’t see the type of sign you need either call or email and we will be happy to assist you.
Q: How do I know what types of street and traffic signs are required for my project?
Brandon Industries manufactures street and traffic signs that will comply with MUTCD and local regulations. It is important to check with your local municipal authority to determine the requirements in your area.
Q: How do you ship?
While some parts are UPS shippable, most orders ship via freight lines. We will work to get you the best possible rate. Shipping charges are FOB McKinney, Texas.
Q: How long does it take to get an order?
Normal delivery time is two weeks.
Q: How do I find out the prices and shipping charges?
Most of our prices are shown on our website. Simply add your products to the shopping cart and provide us
with your contact information. We will call or email you a quote which includes shipping.
Q: What if I don't see what I want?
No order is too small or too large. If you are interested in products that are not priced on the web site please call or email and we will be happy to work up a quote for you. We can sometimes create special products for you or help you find another source for it.

Brandon Industries, Inc.® is an OEM manufacturer. We use UL approved electrical components from General Electric, Leviton, and Advance Transformer to name a few.
